Caroline McBride loves all things movement and music. As a blues dancer, her favorite moments involve playing with music and connection. As a physical therapist, her favorite dances are the ones where no one gets hurt. Combining movement, physical therapy, and a smattering of pilates and yoga, Caroline is looking forward to helping keep dancers healthy, warmed up, and stretched out for an injury-free weekend!
A firm believer in empowering all dancers to practice self-care through greater body awareness, Caroline is happy to nerd out about the mechanics of joint and muscle safety with regards to movement, connection, turning, spins, and more.
Caroline's history of dance love affairs include numerous folk dances, as well as lindy, salsa, modern, and tap. She is currently performing with the Flower City Follies and teaching locally in Rochester NY (lindy, choreography, and pilates). She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and is a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher.
